School Nurse Administrator of the Year

Congratulations 2023 School Nurse Administrator of the Year: From Region 10, Laura Vayda, BSN, RN, MHA, NCSN!

Where would we be without our school nurse administrators? They labor tirelessly to improve the working conditions for school nurses. They keep a pulse on both the administration side of a school district as well as the daily clinic routines. Working late hours, often going unnoticed, they don’t require anything they are not willing to do themselves. As a leader in the department, school district, and community, they are able to inspire others to give more.

Sound like a school nurse administrator you know? Nominate them for School Nurse Administrator of the Year! Detailed information about nomination submission, selection criteria and process, and the terms and benefits of tenure can be FOUND HERE.
